A local pizzeria in Prescott was handed a boost when a stranger walked in and handed the owner $2,000 in cash in an envelope, according to ABC15.
The woman, unknown to anyone in the establishment, left a message of hope in the envelope, and Skyler Reeves, Rosa’s Pizzeria owner, was left speechless after this act.
Rosa’s Pizzeria, like other local businesses, has been forced to make tough decisions due to the COVID-19 outbreak. The premise has been forced to cut down their staff from 50 employees to six full-time employees.
Restaurants have been forced to eliminate sit-in services and offer to-go services due to the enforcement of social distancing.
Skyler Reeves said he is planning to use the $2,000 to help keep as many people employed as possible. That inspiring act of kindness might be the first among many to happen in Prescott and other parts of the country.
